Important information:
Electro-stimulation devices use a so-called low-frequency modulated direct current, which can induce muscle and nerve stimulation effects. The sensations they produce can vary widely, from a tingling sensation on the skin's surface to mild muscle twitches. The effect is highly dependent on the parameters set and the location of the electrodes. It is important to know that any effect can only be felt if both electrodes of a channel are placed on the same surface, preferably on the same surface (it does not work properly e.g.: one over the muscle over the soft part of the other, or one over the hair-covered part of the skin over the smooth skin of the other)
The sensation elicited will depend largely on the type of electrode, in all cases use a clean electrode with good conductivity and some kind of electrode gel (with self-adhesive electrodes, care should be taken not to dry out)
